In this two hour workshop I will talk you through a precise strategy for differential diagnosis applicable to the DSM. This training is designed for psychologists who want to build their skills in differentiating between DSM disorders and understanding how to appropriately diagnose conditions. In this training you will learn: - What differential diagnosis actually is, and why it's an essential skill for psychologists - The step by step approach to differential diagnosis that is recommended for use when ruling in and out DSM disorders - Amanda's method for understanding and differentiating between commonly overlapping/similar mental health conditions - I also cover both the diagnostic criteria, and differentia diagnosis for each of the following DSM diagnoses: Adjustment Disorder Agoraphobia Anorexia Antisocial Personality Disorder Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Autism Binge Eating Disorder Bipolar Disorders Borderline Personality Disorder Bulimia Conduct Disorder Generalised Anxiety Disorder Major Depression Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Oppositional Defiant Disorder Panic disorder Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Separation Anxiety Disorder Social Anxiety Disorder This workshop is suitable for psychologists at all stages of their career looking to upskill and get confident with differentiating disorders and accurate diagnosis. If you are a provisional psychologist, these above-mentioned disorders are all on your National Psychology Exam Curriculum.
